    BE offers Low Voltage Fire Resistant Wires, in accordance with International (IEC) and British (BS) standards.

    FR wires are used in a wide range of electrical applications like emergency systems, stand-by power supplies and elevators in subway substations, airports, public locations, hotels and hospitals.

    BE is the first accredited company in KSA by BASEC and LPCB for Fire-resistant wires. All tests of FR wires are carried out in accordance with IEC 60502-1, BS 7846, BS 7211 and BS 6387 CAT CWZ in its own laboratories accredited by A2LA ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

    • Soft annealed copper according to BS EN 60228, Class 2 stranded and Class 5 flexible conductor wrapped with mica tapes.
    Insulation:
    • Halogen free, low smoke cross-linked material (LS0H-XL) of Type EI 5 to EN 50363-5 90 °C.
    • Colors are available upon request.
    LPCB & BASEC Approvals:
    • BS 6387 (CWZ) test under flame temperature 950 °C for 3 hour
